Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) is fighting back at Southwest Airlines/airTran Airways and other carriers with a new ad campaign that will emphasize that it is the low-fare airline.
The company said in its release, “Recent Department of Transportation fare data confirms that Frontier had the lowest average fare on nearly every nonstop route we serve from Denver, Milwaukee and Kansas City. While our competitors spend their time creating the perception of low fares, it turns out we own the reality.”
The new campaign, with the tagline “Fares so low everyone’s flying,” features Griz, Jack, Larry and the gang taking advantage of Frontier’s low fares to take a few trips of their own – to an amusement park, a business meeting and even Jack’s childhood rabbit hole.
Look for the new advertising campaign starting today (September 19) in the Denver, Milwaukee and Kansas City markets, with appearances on television, radio, outdoor, online and e-mail.
Frontier Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc.

I AM TRYING TO GET THE LOWEST FARE FROM DAYTON, OH TO SAN DIEGO, CA FOR 2 SENIORS
I ONLY SAW A FARE FOR $338 EACH ONE WAY.
WHEN IT STATES NO CHANGE IN PLANES, DO YOU REMAIN ON THE SAME FLIGHT TO THE NEXT DESTINATION?
THANK YOU
MRS. ARNOLD
Usually it means no connections. There are many search engines online that you can find the lowest fare. Fares are up again for this holiday season. I would suspect you will have to make a connection at one of the hubs.
