Smart Aviation (Company Cairo) has taken delivery of two new Bombardier DHC-8-402 (Q400) aircraft. SU-SMH (msn 4367) was accepted on September 16 and SU-SMI (msn 4368) followed on September 22. The two new turboprops will be used on domestic and regional flights. The aircraft were ordered in August 2010.
The company launched charter operations on May 3, 2007 with a single 10-seater Cessna Citation Sovereign jet aircraft.
The company, which is partially owned by EgyptAir, is the first corporate jet operator in Egypt to cater to businessmen, politicians, executive air travelers and medical services.
