American Airlines to outsource some Boeing 757-200 maintenance work

American Airlines (Dallas/Fort Worth) has notified the Transport Workers Union (TWU) in Tulsa that the company will outsource heavy maintenance on four Boeing 757-200 aircraft starting on November 1, according to this report by Tulsa World.

The C Checks will be performed by TIMCO Aviation Services (Greensboro) rather than by AA employees at the Tulsa International Airport maintenance base.
