Airberlin Turkey launches operations today

Airberlin Turkey (Antalya), a new joint venture between Airberlin and Pegasus Airlines, launched operations today (November 1) between Antalya and Stuttgart with two dedicated Boeing 737-800s including Pegasus’ Boeing 737-86J TC-IZC (msn 37745) which is now painted in Airberlin’s colors with additional cursive “Turkey” titles.

The new charter airline will also serve Bremen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Leipzig/Halle, Nuremberg and Paderborn. Overall, Airberlin Turkey will transport vacationers from up to 14 German cities to the Turkish Riviera, up to 31 times a week during the winter season.

Pegasus and Airberlin started code-sharing flights started in September 2011.
