LAM-Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (Maputo) has announced it will drop the twice-weekly Maputo-Lisbon route on November 23 as it seeks to operate its own aircraft on the route despite an European Commission ban on carriers from Mozambique. For now, LAM will code-share with TAP Portugal (Lisbon) on the route. The route was operated by euroAtlantic Airways for LAM under a wet lease agreement.
