Air India’s board approves the sale and lease back of 27 Boeing 787 Dreamliners

Air India’s (Mumbai) board of directors has approved the sale and lease back of its 27 Boeing 787-800s on order. The board also decided Air India may lease out excess capacity of two Boeing 747-400 aircraft and some 777-200 LR aircraft (at a future date), after the induction of Dreamliners.
