Etihad Airways denies it will acquire a minority share of Airberlin

Airberlin (Airberlin.com) Boeing 737-7K5 WL D-AHXJ (msn 35277) NUE (Gunter Mayer), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Airberlin (Berlin) is expected to announce Etihad Airways (Abu Dhabi) will acquire a minority share in the company. Airberlin’s board of directors is expected to discuss the proposal today at a regular meeting according to this report by Reuters.

However Etihad has now stated the report is flawed and not correct. Airberlin continues to search for an investor party.
