SkyWest Airlines to operate the Portland-Long Beach route for Alaska Airlines

Alaska SkyWest (SkyWest Airlines) Bombardier CRJ700 (CL-600-2C10) N216AG (msn 10023) LGB (Michael B. Ing), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Alaska Airlines (Seattle/Tacoma) has announced it will resume daily nonstop service between Portland, Oregon and Long Beach, California starting on March 12, 2012. Alaska Airlines previously served Portland – Long Beach for about one year until April 2010.

The flights will be operated for Alaska Airlines by SkyWest Airlines as Alaska SkyWest with its 70-seat Bombardier CRJ700 regional jets.
