American, United and US Airways join Delta in charging a $3 surcharge for flights to Europe

American Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways have now joined Delta Air Lines in charging a $3 surcharge to European-bound passengers to offset penalties implemented by the new European Union emissions law which went into effect on January 1.
