Silk Way to operate its Ilyushin Il-76 freighters for the U.S. military

Silk Way Azerbaijan Cargo (Silk Way Airlines) Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VD 4K-AZ101 (msn 2073421716) CGN (Rainer Bexten), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

World Airways (Atlanta) and Silk Way Airlines (Baku) announced today they have completed a teaming agreement to provide outsized air freight service to the U.S. military. The agreement provides freight services beginning in January 2012 utilizing Silk Way’s Il-76 aircraft.
