QANTAS Airways (Sydney) and Malaysia Airlines (Kuala Lumpur) have given up on a possible joint venture that would have created a premium airline based in Kuala Lumpur. As previously reported, Malaysia has gone into a crisis mode due to its weak financial situation which probably led to break-up of discussions.
