Frontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) will add new nonstop seasonal service between Denver (DEN) and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ), taking the number of nonstop Frontier routes from Denver to a record 68. The service will operate Saturdays beginning on June 9 and continuing through August 4, 2012.
Additionally, Frontier will double its existing nonstop summer service between Denver and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD). A second weekly flight will operate Wednesdays from May 23 to August 8, 2012, in addition to the year-round service already offered on Saturdays. Frontier also operates an enhanced Cabo schedule during the winter months, typically running eight flights weekly from December through April.
The new and expanded service will operate on 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft.
