I guess I’m a little surprised; I did not think that their ’13 venture was a great seller. However – Delta is the only one with access to the real numbers and if they are flying the route again this year, they must believe that it has some potential. I’m sure that the principal loads originate in NYC and that’s great for Vancouver’s summer trade. I wonder what service level these looong flights will include. Yes, Delta is increasing their footprint in the Northwest (Seattle and Vancouver). I hope it works for them. While this is technically an international route, I’m sure that it will see only domestic, trans-con services. We’ll see. Has anyone booked this route? What are the fares like? After your trip, a report would be nice. Thanks.
