Air Belgium starts operations

New airline, started operations on March 29, 2018

Air Belgium (2nd) (Brussels South Charleroi Airport) commenced operations today (March 29). The second version of Air Belgium operated their very first flight positioning from Bari (BRI) to Amsterdam (AMS). The pictured OO-ABA then operated a revenue flight for Surinam Airways from Amsterdam to Paramaribo (PBM) operating for them as flight PY993, substituting for Surinam PZ-TCR.

The new airline obtained its AOC on March 14, 2018.

Regular scheduled operations will begin on April 30 from Brussels South Charleroi Airport to Hong Kong.

    The flights you reported are charter flights. They are not commercial scheduled flights.

      I know. Thank you. As stated it was the start of operations and a sub-service for Surinam Airways. They started operations on this day. Regular scheduled operations will begin later but they are now an airline. Thanks.
