FlyArystan to open a new base in Karaganda, Kazakhstan

FlyArystan has made this announcement:

FlyArystan, the first domestic low-cost carrier of Kazakhstan, plans to open a new base in Karaganda in the second quarter of 2020. This is the first regional station outside of our home base in Almaty.

The base will initially be established with one Airbus A320 aircraft with a second A320 planned to join the new base later on. The number of domestic and international routes served from Sary-Arka Airport will reach approximately 10-12.

Since FlyArystan launched the Almaty-Karaganda-Almaty route more than 200 flights have been operated with an average load factor of 93%.
