ZIPAIR postpones launch of service to Bangkok, still eyes Hawaii

ZIPAIR Tokyo (subsidiary of Japan Airlines) announced the decision to postpone the launch of service on May 14, 2020. Based on the global impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the inaugural service between Tokyo Narita and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport will be postponed until further notice.

The airline is planning plans to fly to Honolulu (HNL) from Tokyo’s Narita (NRT) Airport in the first year of operations.

The new airline will launch operations with two Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.
