Downsview Airport (YZD) is located in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The airport started as a basic air field, then became an air force base

YZD has been an assembly and testing facility for Bombardier Aerospace since 1994.

Bombardier has sold the facility.

The last Bombardier/de Havilland Canada aircraft has now departed the airport. The pictured C-FJJA is the original prototype aircraft for the Q400 program.

C-FJJA departed YZD on June 17 bound for Calgary.
