Avianca unveils the evolution of its premium offering

Avianca announced:

For Avianca, an Abra Group airline, delivering a high-quality experience to its customers is a strategic priority that is reflected in its continued investment in its product, service and people.

In line with this commitment, the company unveiled a new evolution of INSIGNIA by Avianca, its Business Class experience on flights to and from Europe and New York operated on Boeing 787 aircraft, featuring enhancements in service, dining, entertainment and other elements designed to enrich the experience throughout the entire journey. In addition, starting in 2027, the airline will begin introducing new suites offering greater privacy and comfort.

At the same time, the company continues to advance the evolution of its premium offering and the preparation of its teams, recognizing that an exceptional experience is built not only through the product itself, but also through the people who deliver it. As part of this effort, more than 850 cabin crew members participated in the Business Class Specialist program, an immersive training experience focused on etiquette and hospitality.

Among the main enhancements to INSIGNIA are:

  • Rest and well-being: new Meridian noise-canceling headphones; a pajama and slipper set designed by Maaji; and an amenity kit created in partnership with Mola Sasa, inspired by the work of the women artisan community of Chimichagua and featuring products from Loto del Sur.
  • Dining: a menu created by renowned chefs Álvaro Clavijo, from El Chato, and Rafael Buitrago, from Elvia Barichara, inspired by Latin American flavors and biodiversity and served on new tableware. The offering also includes Home Burgers options on flights from Bogotá and Medellín to Europe, as well as Castello Monte Vibiano products on routes departing from Europe.
  • Ground experience: priority service from the very beginning at the INSIGNIA by Avianca Check-In in Bogotá and access to VIP lounges. These enhancements are complemented by Business Class Américas, available across all routes within the continent, and Magno, the highest LifeMiles status tier.

Avianca also continues investing in the transformation of its VIP lounges to strengthen its premium offering, with spaces that bring together design, dining, technology and comfort. In this context, the airline announced the renovation of the International Gold Lounge at El Salvador International Airport, a space inspired by the country’s geography and volcanoes that will incorporate artisanal techniques and visual expressions celebrating Salvadoran identity.
