Welcome to World Airline News, your new free online source for airline news and the latest color photos. We live in the information age. Airlines are rapidly changing and it is a very dynamic industry. So is the way airline news is now being reported. Today readers demand rapid “got to have it now” information especially on their mobile devices. Old traditional printed ways reporting dated airline news is becoming more of the past. We strive to be different in this age. Our goal is to provide you with the latest daily “real time” airline news. Airlines fly every day and we report the news every day. We do not charge you for our news. We welcome contributions from airlines, manufacturers and interested readers willing to help us record the news for history.
The World Airline News is the official airline news blog of the Airliners Gallery photo library, the online home of high-quality, high-resolution aviation stock images of jet and prop aircraft that are available separately as framable color prints, posters and aviation gifts on the AG website.
Please be aware of the growing number of unauthorized “copy cat bloggers” who steal our our researched content and repost our material without permission on their blogs with their ads. We appreciate your direct support.
World Airline News is unique – we combine fresh daily airline news content with the latest photos from the AG library.
We also add extra colorful features such as route maps and airline videos. In essence, this is the new age of reading the news.
There are many ways to read WAN. Besides this blog, WAN is also available as an e-mail subcription for all posts and it is also available as separate pages on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, Tumblr and a RSS feed for your e-reader (please see the top right column for these links).
WAN is also unique in that we offer a beautiful “Slide Show” option for each airline. Just click the “Slide Show” button or embedded slide show at the end of the story and you can view the aircraft of that airline in spectacular full-screen action photos (click on any photo for the full-screen view). The Slide Show contains current and historical aircraft.
The AirlinersGallery.com Library will eventually have a photo gallery for each and every airline, past and present with stunning slide shows. Our growing AG photo library offers the best aircraft pictures of airliners and airlines, past and present from our team of worldwide professional photographers. We serve the photographic needs of editors, writers, advertisers and creative airline personnel to build the best articles, advertisements, books and websites. We offer our digital sharp images either as royalty-free, rights-managed or licensed photos for your editorial needs. Please contact us airlinersgallery@gmail.com for the full details, prices and professional assistance.
For print collectors we offer the best color prints and posters of airline, military, government and business jets and other aircraft.

A very informative blog indeed. Love it!
Thank you.
WHEN I WAS WORKING IN AMSTERDAM IN 1975 I LIVED IN THE SAME APARTMENT THAT NEIL LEE LIVED. HE WORKED AS A PILOT FOR TRANSAVIA AT THE TIME.
HE WENT BACK TO ENGLAND AND GOT MARRIED BUT LATER CAME BACK TO UTRECT HOLLAND. I AM TRYING TO GET HIS E-MAIL ADDRESS OR MAILING ADDRESSS. DO YOU HAVE EITHER? JACK SCHOFIELD jhschofield@Verizon.net
Sorry Jack, I do not.
Bruce
I like the information you provide but i have to say i’m not a fan of your horizontal scrolling format. to me it is not as convenient as vertical scrolling.
Thank you Mike.
i like so much your website, seems the collection of information really fresh and usefull
Thank you Marina.
Bruce
I like the info/photos you provide but I find the the format distracting. Having to scroll across and then scroll down for articles is not efficient in my opinion. I much prefer just scrollong down from article to article.
Thank you Mike for your input. All opinions are appreciated. I have received overwhelming support for this new iPad compatible “Shelf” design for the news blog. Readership has tripled since I introduced this new horizontal look so I do not think I will be going back to the old vertical style. Look at the bright side – it has no ads and it is free! Thanks again for your support and readership.
Bruce
I’ve been an admirer of your photos since you were the photo coordinator with Airliners magazine and really enjoy your photo selections on Facebook. . I would like to supply photos to you but, I don’t think they are consistently to the quality of those you show on Facebook.
Thank you Alex. Happy New Year.
All photos are welcome. If you capture a newsworthy subject, please contact me at airlinersgallery@gmail.com.
All the best.

The news website is no longer formatting on my ipad2 and causing safari to crash 100% of the time.
Thank you Sam. I also use the iPad2 and Safari and I am not having any problems reading the WAN. I checked the iPad settings and they are OK for this blog. I would try it again. I hope this helps.
Bruce
PS..The horizontal scrolling is really BETTER than vertical once you get the hang of it. It works especially well with a wireless mouse on an iMac!
Bruce Drum: Your work is immaculate, informative and insightful. Keep up the good work! Joe T
Thank you very much Joe. I appreciate the nice comments and your continued support. Thanks again.
Bruce

Hey Jay. Hope u r doing well.

Really informative blog. I come here pretty much everyday for my daily fix of aviation news, if ever there is anything to change, it would be the displaying of the articles. It may be better if only a preview of the post is shown instead of the entire article at the home page so that it may be easier to scroll and navigate through this awesome website. Keep up the good work!
Thanks allot to share with us this very useful n informative blog.
A very attractive and useful blog for Aviation.
Thank you. All the best.
