EgyptAir’s Air Sphinx to now launch operations this winter

Air Sphinx was orginally planned to launch low-cost operations in April 2022.

This launch has been delayed until the winter 2022/2023.

The subsidiary of Egypt Air will fly from Cairo International Airport, Hurghada International Airport, Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, Luxor International Airport, and Sphinx International Airport in Giza.

EgyptAir is planning to call its low-cost subsidiary Air Sphinx.

The new division is planning to launch flights in April with two Boeing 737-800s from Giza.

Giza’s Sphinx International Airport recently opened a new terminal.
