Czech Connect Airlines-CCA (formerly Central Charter Airlines) (Ostrava) has been declared insolvent (bankrupt) and the company has suspended all operations.
The company issued the following statement:
“In accordance with theย decision taken byย the company’s Board ofย Directors, theย request ofย starting theย insolvency proceeding ofย the airline hasย been filed atย Regional Court ofย Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Owners ofย the Czech Connect Airlines, j.s.c. together with management ofย the company areย now doing their best toย find ways toย rescue theย airline andย toย minimize impacts ofย the above mentioned steps toย airline’s customers, employees asย well asย business partners.
Following above mentioned steps, airline hasย decided toย interrupt itsย operation from January, 24, 2012 till theย end ofย the current IATA season (March, 21, 2012). Possibilities ofย alternative solution ofย air transport shall beย negotiated with travel agencies orย directly with passengers.”
