Aerocon’s (Trinidad) flight 238 on September 7 while operating from Viru Viru International Airport, Santa Cruz de la Sierra to Teniente Jorge Henrich Arauz Airport, Trinidad, Bolivia disappeared while on approach to Trinidad. The flight was operated by Swearingen SA227 Metroliner CP-2548. There were seven passengers and two crew members on board. Rescuers who have now reached the crash site have confirmed there are no survivors.

The airline started operations in 2005 and currently operates to all parts of Bolivia.
