Madagasikara Airways (Antananarivo) has announced it is opening its first international route on July 1, 2016.
The domestic carrier will start a weekly Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia flight to Pierrefonds Airport atย Saint-Pierre in Rรฉunion fromย รle Sainte-Marie, which is a small island off the east coast of Madagascar.
Madagasikara Airways commenced operations on October 26, 2015 from Antananarivo, with regular flights to Toamasina and Sainte-Marie. Since then the airline has added other domestic airports in Madagascar.
