Eurowings is consolidating its long-haul operations atย Dรผsseldorf, a larger catchment area than the current Cologne/Bonn area. The company is attempting to fill the long-haul void left by the demise of Airberlin.
Eurowings started long-haul operations at DUS in November to Cancun, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and Veradero. It will greatly expand operations at DUS.
The four Airbus A330-200s currently assigned to the Cologne/Bonn market will be moved to DUS for the winter 2018/2019 season.
