Air Serbia launches seasonal flights between Belgrade and Ohrid

Air Serbia’s flight JU116 on July 19 marked the launching of direct flights between Belgrade and Ohrid.

The national airline will be operating flights to this city in North Macedonia from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport four times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Air Serbia’s inaugural flight was ceremoniously welcomed at the St. Paul the Apostle Airport in Ohrid.

Eurowings operates to Ohrid this summer

On July 1, 2019 an Airbus A320 took off for the first time to Ohrid in the southwest of North Macedonia: The passengers departed punctually at 07.20 a.m. from Stuttgart Airport.

The connection to the popular tourist city is offered twice a week on Mondays and Fridays during the summer months. Departure from Stuttgart is early in the morning and the flight duration is estimated at about two hours.

Starting on July 17, 2019, Eurowings will be expanding its service to Ohrid with the addition of a new connection from Düsseldorf. On Wednesdays in the afternoon, the route in the direction of Eastern Europe will be served by an Airbus A319.

The city of Ohrid captivates with its picturesque old town, many churches, monasteries and mosques and is situated on Lake Ohrid: the million-year-old water is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old town is located directly on the waterside and invites you to take a walk along the lake promenade.
