Sichuan increases share in United Eagle Airlines

Sichuan Airlines (Chengdu) has increased its share in neighboring United Eagle Airlines (ueair.com) (Chengdu) to a controlling 76 percent (merger coming?). The remaining shares are held by private entities, mostly in the Chengdu area. United Eagle started regional services on July 2005 after A320 B-6266 (msn 1751) was delivered on June 8, 2005 on lease from GECAS. Today United Eagle operates Airbus A319s and A320s.
