United Airlines (Chicago) is joining a growing list of carriers temporarily reducing the number of flights to Mexico due to the Swine Flu outbreak as demand drops off. Beginning May 5, UA will reduce the number of weekly flights to Mexico from 61 to 24 in May and 90 to 52 in June. The company will continue to serve its four destinations in Mexico. However can some of the smaller Mexican carriers survive this tremendous drop in demand for travel?
