Boeing takes $1 billion charge for 747-8F delays

Boeing (Chicago, Seattle, Wichita and Charleston, SC) has taken a charge of approximately $1 billion due to new delays for the new 747-8F freighter program. The company now expects the first flight to be in early 2010 and the first deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2010.
