Allegiant to establish its 8th base at Orlando (MCO)

Allegiant Air (Las Vegas) has announced it will open its eighth base at Orlando International Airport (MCO) on February 1, 2010 with service to 10 cities. The company also serves Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) to 31 cities in nearby Sanford. 10 of those cities served will be moved to MCO. By March 5, 2010 Allegiant plans to have five DC-9-80s (MD-80s) based at MCO.
