British Airways to attempt to block BALPA’s request to change its pilot’s holiday pay

British Airways (London) is due to fight to the courts today in an attempt to block the BALPA union’s attempt to change its policy on holiday pay for pilots, just days after BA cabin crew voted for possible strike action. The British Airline Pilots’ Association (BALPA), which is challenging the airline’s pay policy for pilots at a two-day hearing at the UK Supreme Court, wants to see BA pilots get the same pay during holidays as they do when they are working according to Reuters.
