El Al loses $76.3 million in 2009

El Al Israel Airlines (Tel Aviv) reported a loss for 2009 of $76.3 million, compared to a loss of $41.9 million in 2008. The company is also phasing out its remaining Boeing 757-200s, replacing them with newer 737NGs.
