Delta Air Lines is awarded routes from Los Angeles and Detroit to Tokyo (Haneda)

Delta Air Lines Boeing 777-232 LR N701DN (msn 29740) (The Spirit of Delta) ATL (Norbert G. Raith), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Delta Air Lines (Atlanta) has received final approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to operate daily, year-round nonstop service between Tokyo International Airport, also known as Haneda Airport, and both Detroit and Los Angeles.
