Sky Airline to start the Santiago-Buenos Aires route on December 1

Sky Airline (Santiago) has announced it was start the new Santiago-Buenos Aires (EZE) route on December 1 2010 after receiving government authorization in September. The Airbus A320 will be operated on this new international route.

Two “new” Boeing 737-200s are to enter service soon. The first is CC-CVI to be followed by CC-ABD (the former CC-CVJ). However the company has no further plans to add additional Airbus A320s.

The new route to Lima (Perú) is scheduled to start on November 17 and domestically to Puerto Natales (in the Chilean Patagonia) on November 3.

Boeing 737-200 CC-CTW has been removed from the fleet and will be scrapped.
