Air Canada Jazz launches Toronto-New Orleans flights

Air Canada Jazz Bombardier CRJ705 (CL-600-2C10) C-FCJZ (msn 15040) YUL (Gilbert Hechema), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Air Canada (Montreal) yesterday (October 30) inaugurated daily non-stop service between Toronto and New Orleans. Flights to The Big Easy will be operated with a 75-seat, Air Canada Jazz (Halifax) Bombardier CRJ705 (CL-600-2C10) aircraft featuring Executive and Economy class service and seatback, personal audio-visual entertainment throughout the aircraft.

Air Canada now offers the only non-stop daily service between Toronto and New Orleans. Flight AC7971 departs Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport at 10:00 a.m. (1000) and arrives at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport at 12:10 p.m. (1210). Flight AC7972 departs New Orleans at 12:45 p.m. (1245) and arrives in Toronto at 4:30 p.m. (1630).
