Boeing to issue a new 787 test schedule in about two weeks

Boeing (Chicago, Seattle, Wichita and Charleston) has determined that the Laredo, Texas fire and fault began as either a short circuit or as an electrical arc in the P100 power distribution panel, most likely caused by the presence of foreign object debris (FOD). As a result, changes will be made to the panel and software and a new 787 test schedule will be issued in about two weeks.
