Lufthansa to introduce the Airbus A380 on the New York JFK route on February 18

Lufthansa Airbus A380-841 D-AIMB (msn 041) FRA (Ton Jochems) (second A380), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Lufthansa (Frankfurt) will introduce its signature Airbus A380 on the Frankfurt-New York (JFK) route on February 18, 2011. Initially the new type will be operated twice weekly on the route, becoming a daily service by mid-April, 2011.
