Skywest Airlines to operate turboprops under the Virgin Blue brand

Skywest Airlines (Australia) Airbus A320-231 G-BYTH (msn 429) MAN (Nik French) (1st Skywest A320), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Skywest Airlines (Perth) will operate up to 18 turboprops for Virgin Blue Airlines (Brisbane), allowing Virgin Blue to move into regional Australia.

Virgin Blue is phasing out its Embraer ERJ 170s.
