TUIfly introduces a new railroad logojet

TUIfly (TUIfly.com) (Hannover) today (January 20) rolled out of the paint shop at Maastricht this new promotional logojet. Boeing 737-8K5 D-ATUE (msn 34686) is advertising the German railroad company Deutsche Bahn named “DB ICE Im Zug Zum Flug” (In DB ICE train to the plane).

Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG, DBAG or DB) (Berlin) is the German national railway company, a private joint stock company (AG). DB was established in 1994 as the successor to the former state railways of Germany, the Deutsche Bundesbahn of West Germany and the Deutsche Reichsbahn of East Germany.

In association with American Airlines, Emirates Airline, China Airlines, and Lufthansa, Deutsche Bahn operates the AiRail Service between Frankfurt International airport and Cologne/Bonn, Dusseldorf, Freiburg, Hamburg, Hanover, Mannheim and Stuttgart. DB uses the IATA designator of 2A.

DB describes itself as the second-largest transport company in the world after Deutsche Post AG and is the largest railway operator and infrastructure owner in Europe. About two billion passengers are carried each year.
