Qatar Airways continues its European expansion

Qatar Airways (Doha) has announced the launch of a new route to Budapest, Hungary.

On January 18 the flag carrier also added a new route to Bucharest, Romania. QR with also add flights to Brussels on January 31 and Stuttgart on March 6.

The carrier has also announced capacity increases to a variety of destinations across its global network starting on March 1, 2011:

Kuala Lumpur-increase to two flights daily starting March 27.
Dar Es Salaam-increase to two flights daily starting March 27.
Paris (CDG)-increase to 16 flights per week starting March 27.
Geneva-daily flights effective May 2.
Barcelona-airplane upgrade to the Airbus A330 starting March 27.
Copenhagen-daily flights effective March 27.
Muscat-increase to 24 flights per week starting March 27.
Bengaluru-airplane upgrade to the Airbus A330 starting March 1.

In 2010 Qatar added 10 new destinations and inducted 19 new aircraft into its fleet.
