Thai Airways International hopes to raise its share in Nok Air to 49%

Nok Air Boeing 737-4D7 HS-TDE (msn 905887) HKT (Wim Callaert), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Thai Airways International (Bangkok) which currently owns 39% of low-fare and flamboyant Nok Air (Bangkok), is attempting to purchase Krung Thai Bank’s 10% stake in order to have better control over the low-fare airline according to Aviation Week.
