Moscow’s Domodedovo International Aiport was attacked this afternoon by a terrorist. The suicide bomber blew himself up in the international arrivals terminal. At least 35 people were killed. DME is Moscow’s busiest airport.
DME, ICAO: UUDD) is an international airport located in Domodedovsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia, 26 miles south-southeast of downtown Moscow. Domodedovo is the largest airport in Russia in terms of passenger and cargo traffic (22.25 million passengers in 2010, which is a 19.2% increase over 2009), and is one of the three major Moscow airports along with Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports.
