ANA files for anti-trust immunity to coordinate European routes and schedules with Lufthansa

ANA-All Nippon Airways Boeing 777-281 JA702A (msn 27033) FUK (John Adlard), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

ANA-All Nippon Airways (Tokyo) on February 23 filed an application with the Japanese Government for antitrust immunity to launch a joint venture with Lufthansa German Airlines (Frankfurt) on routes between Japan and Europe.

Subject to approval of the application by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, ANA and Lufthansa will be able to jointly manage their Japan-Europe operations in areas such as scheduling, pricing and sales.
