Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras orders 10 more ATR 72-600s

Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras ATR 72-202 PR-AZS (msn 523) VCP (Marcelo F. De Biasi) (new type), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras (Sao Paulo-Viracopos) on June 21, 2011 signed a contract for the purchase of 10 additional ATR 72-600 aircraft. This new order is a conversion of 10 of 20 options that was announced at the Farnborough Airshow in 2010. This conversion brings to 30 ATR 72-600s Azul has on order. The first ATR 72-600 will be delivered in October 2011.
