GECAS orders two Boeing 747-8 freighters and eight 777-300 ERs

Boeing (Chicago) announced an agreement today (June 21) at the Paris Air Show that GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, will purchase two 747-8 Freighters and eight 777-300 ERs (extended range). The 747-8 Freighter is a new model for the GECAS portfolio of airplanes.
