Alaska Airlines to begin daily service from the Bay Area to Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii

Alaska Airlines (Seattle/Tacoma) has announced that it would expand its schedule starting daily, nonstop service from Oakland and San Jose, California, to Lihue, on the island of Kauai, and Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii starting on March 12, 2012.

The airline has previously served the markets with three flights a week between San Jose and Lihue and between Oakland and Kona and four flights a week from San Jose to Kona and Oakland to Lihue.
