Nordwind Airlines gets ready to add its first Airbus

Nordwind Airlines (Moscow) is getting ready to take delivery of its first Airbus aircraft, an A321.

Nordwind was established as a cooperative venture between Pegas and Russian tour operators in September 2008. Scheduled operations began in December 2008 with an initial fleet of three Boeing 757-200s. Boeing 767-300s have also been added. Today the fleet is eight Boeing 757-200s and six 767-300s.

The company is based at Sheremetyevo International Airport near Moscow.
