Nordwind Airlines gets ready to add its first Airbus

Nordwind Airlines Airbus A321-211 M-ABED (msn 1219) SEN (Keith Burton) (new Airbus operator), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Nordwind Airlines (Moscow) is getting ready to take delivery of its first Airbus aircraft, an A321.

Nordwind was established as a cooperative venture between Pegas and Russian tour operators in September 2008. Scheduled operations began in December 2008 with an initial fleet of three Boeing 757-200s. Boeing 767-300s have also been added. Today the fleet is eight Boeing 757-200s and six 767-300s.

The company is based at Sheremetyevo International Airport near Moscow.
