Romavia makes a comeback, relaunches operations and introduces a new livery

Romavia (Romanian Aviation Company) (Bucharest) has made a comeback with this single BAe 146-200 in 2011. The airline has restarted operations with BAe 146-200A YR-BEC (msn E2062). The state airline celebrated the relaunch with this new livery. Previously Romavia ended commercial operations in October 2010.

The national carrier had previously launched schedule operations on April 23, 2007 from Bucharest to Cluj Napoca and Tel Aviv.

Romavia was established on April 3, 1991 and started operations in the same year. The airline is wholly owned by the Romanian Ministry of National Defense.

YR-BEC is pictured on a charter flight to Bologna on September 2, 2011.
