Chilean volcanic ash halts flights in Argentina and Uruguay

Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus A340-313X F-GNIH (msn 373) ORY (Pepscl), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.

Argentina and Uruguay suspended some flights at Buenos Aires and Montevideo due to an ash cloud from Chile’s Mount Puyehue volcano, which has disrupted air travel since it first erupted earlier this year according to this article by IOL News

Flights were especially disrupted at both Ezeiza and Jorge Newbery airports in Buenos Aires.
