Allegiant Air McDonnell Douglas DC-9-83 (MD-83) N863GA (msn 49911) LAS (Stephen Toernblom), originally uploaded by Airliners Gallery.Allegiant Air (Las Vegas) yesterday (November 17) inaugurated nonstop service between Mesa (near Phoenix) and Las Vegas. The new route will operate twelve times weekly between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) and McCarran International Airport (LAS) beginning on January 11, 2012.
Allegiant also announced new nonstop service between Mesa and Oakland International Airport (OAK) beginning on January 18, 2012. This new route will operate six times a week.
The company yesterday also inaugurated new twice-weekly service between Lexington, Kentucky (LEX) and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood (FLL) as well as twice-weekly service between the Grand Forks International Airport (GFK) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) with service operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
Allegiant also inaugurated twice-weekly flights yesterday between Bangor International Airport (BGR) and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with service on Thursdays and Sundays.
