Flydubai (Dubai) will have the honor of accepting the 7,000th Boeing 737 built and delivered. To honor this historic milestone, Boeing 737-8KN A6-FDW (msn 40250) wears a special “7000th Boeing 737 Aircraft” sticker by the nose as it prepares to land on a test flight at Everett (Paine Field).

Originally envisioned in 1964, the initial 737-100 first flew in 1967, and entered airline revenue service in February 1968. It was followed by the lengthened 737-200, which entered service in April 1968.
